A person was arrested for spreading the illusion of waking up a dead person

 Tilottama - A person has been arrested in Butwal on the charge of spreading illusions about bringing dead people back to life.

The arrested person is 35-year-old Rajendra Gotame from Kanchpur. Butwal 12, the police started an investigation after Gotame, the pastor of the Holy Calvary Church in Buddhanagar, made a video saying that he revived a person who was said to be dead and went viral on social media.


The accused Gotame was taken into custody and sent to the District Police Office Rupandehi for further investigation, said Thug Bahadur KC, Head of the Area Police Office Butwal.


Casey said that he went to the church at 9 am on Monday and arrested him. However, when the police inquired about the video, they said it was an old video. The police said that they will investigate further.
